What we keep, and what we don't
Short version: we never ask who you are, and we don't sell or share anything.
What we don't collect
- No account, no sign-up, no email address.
- No ads and no ad trackers. The app doesn't load anything from other companies.
- Your screenshots are read once to give you an answer and are never saved.
What we do keep
- The words of messages people check. Before we save them, we take out phone numbers, email addresses, long card or account numbers, and dollar amounts. We use these to see which scams are spreading so we can warn more people. Please don't paste passwords, codes, or account numbers.
- Simple daily counts, like how many checks were run and how many people added the app to their home screen. Just numbers, nothing tied to you.
- A random number stored on your phone, used only to stop one device from running hundreds of checks a minute.
Who reads your message
To give you an answer, the message is sent to an AI service (OpenAI) that reads it and sends back a result. It isn't used to advertise to you.
It can be wrong
This is educational information, not legal or financial advice. When money or accounts are involved, check another way too: look up the company's real number yourself and call it.
